< "Yurayon" Transforation >

2000

Acrylic on cloth, cotton, etc.
150*250*60cm
The visitors, who can move some parts of this work or touch them, would actually engage themselves in the work. "Yurayon" is a word which the artist gives to a strange living thing transforming eternally from the memory of an atom to the shape of man. She is creating a series of variations on the same subject. Any part which is brightly colored in full shade reminds one of primordial forms of life or a cell. Yurayon is each and every part of it, and at the same time the whole. A versatile protean existence it really is waddling together and transforming into one all at the same time.
