I have been living among trees and grass. Through the eyes of plants and dogs, I sometimes tried to look for the bonds between these things and nature. But Ihave been feeling all along that there was some distance between nature and myself. At times, this sense of credibility gap changed, perhaps due to something unnatural that came inside me, and it seemed that this would happen as a series of events overlapping one another in succession.
Under these circumstances, I have been producing works, often thinking about the need to consider the danger of creation. One contradiction leads to another contradiction. A tree takes a long time to grow. By observing it carefully, one can discover a contradiction there. This would mean a return to a new beginning. In order to do this, one needs to have an imagination with depth. There is nothing unusual about this at all: all you have to do is to go back and forth between the present situation you are in and the past that is devouring it.
